Ingredients
Spinach leaves
Paneer cubes (Cottage cheese)
Butter
Ginger-garlic paste
Onion (chopped)
Tomatoes (chopped)
Green chilies (chopped)
Cumin seeds
Cinnamon stick
Cloves
A bay leaf
Garam masala
Coriander powder
Chili flakes
Salt
Cooking Method
Take a gallon of water in a pot and heat it on a medium-high flame.
Now, add 4 cups of spinach leaves into the pot and let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
When the spinach changes its color, drain the water from the spinach and blend it into a blender to make a smooth puree of it.
Keep a pan on the low flame and add 2 tablespoons of butter into it.
Now add the whole spices like 1 tsp cumin seeds, a bay leaf, 4 cloves, and a small piece of cinnamon stick and let them turn aromatic.
Add minced ginger-garlic paste and Sauté for 2 minutes. Now, add 2 finely chopped green chilies.
Add 2 chopped onions and stir-fry until they get translucent and then add 2 chopped tomatoes.
Then, add salt to taste and spices like Indian ½ tsp garam masala, ½ tsp coriander powder, and a pinch of chili flakes.
Sauté well for 5minutes until the mixture is prepared and tomatoes are mushy.
Now, add the blended spinach puree and ½ cup of water to balance the consistency and let it cook for about 4-5 minutes without covering the lid.
Add the paneer cubes and cook for another couple of minutes while Sautéing. Top it off with some cream and serve hot.
