Tips to use the leftover food

If you don’t like eating the leftover food and don’t want to throw it away either, the best way to avoid it is to cook food only in the quantity you need for a one-time meal. We often cook more food than we need for ourselves, which costs us time, money, and effort that could be used somewhere else. Here are some tips to swear by.

Share it with your neighbors - If you’re working and barely like eating leftovers when you’re back from a tiring workday, share it with your neighbors. Serve the extra food in the dishes nicely and offer it to them, they will appreciate your efforts and might do the same for you. Also, it will give you and your neighbors varieties on your table.

Refrigerate them for the next day - If the above isn't the option for you, you can also transfer your leftovers to the clean and dry containers and refrigerate your food so you can use it anytime within the next 2-3 days, if not on the same day.

Get creative with them - The other way to make the most of your leftovers is to get creative with them. This is one of our favorite ways to utilize leftovers. You can combine your vegetables with other dishes and prepare a whole new dish out of it or use your meats to prepare sandwiches or soups, etc.
